30. The Skywalk at the Dachstein Glacier, Germany
The Skywalk is a vertigo-inducing viewing platform made almost entirely of glass, suspended directly above the 820-foot sheer rock face of the Hunerkogel mountain region. This unique vantage point offers some of the most beautiful views in the Alps – on a clear day, travellers can see as far as Slovenia and Czechia. While it may look fragile, The Skywalk is anything but: the steel-reinforced structure is built to endure winds of up to 130 miles per hour and support up to 26 feet of heavy snowfall.
